Mission/Purpose: Committed to promoting excellence in marksmanship, discipline, and responsibility. Our mission is to provide cadets with the opportunity to develop precision shooting skills while fostering a strong sense of teamwork, leadership, and ethical sportsmanship. We aim to prepare cadets for success in competitive shooting events and to instill values that will serve them in all aspects of life. Purpose: The purpose of the FHS JROTC Air Rifle Team is to offer a structured and safe environment where cadets can learn and practice the art of air rifle marksmanship. The team encourages personal growth through the mastery of shooting techniques, mental focus, and physical conditioning. By participating in the Air Rifle Team, cadets will develop patience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure. These skills, along with the principles of honor and respect, will help cadets excel in their academic and personal lives, as well as in any future military or civilian careers.

Our mission is to provide cadets with a supportive environment where they can develop their archery abilities while learning the values of teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. The team aims to foster a lifelong appreciation for the sport and to prepare cadets for success in both competitive archery and their broader life goals. Purpose: The purpose of the FHS JROTC Archery Team is to offer cadets a unique opportunity to engage in the sport of archery, emphasizing precision, concentration, and control. The team provides structured training and practice sessions designed to improve each cadet's technical skills and mental fortitude. Through participation in the Archery Team, cadets will learn the importance of setting goals, maintaining discipline, and working collaboratively towards shared objectives. These experiences will not only enhance their performance in archery competitions but also contribute to their overall development as responsible and capable leaders in their future endeavors.

Through rigorous training, competitive events, and community service, the club aims to develop the skills, discipline, and resilience required for success both in and out of uniform. We strive to build character and instill a sense of duty, honor, and country in all participants. Purpose: The purpose of the Raiders Club is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in challenging physical and mental activities that promote personal growth and camaraderie. The club encourages members to push their limits, work collaboratively, and represent their school with pride in various competitions. By participating in the Raiders Club, students will develop leadership abilities, physical fitness, and a strong sense of self-discipline that will serve them well in their future endeavors, whether in military service, higher education, or civilian life.

Mission/Purpose: Linguistics Olympiads are competitions for students with an interest in language and a fascination with puzzles. The competitions are designed to challenge, educate, and entertain those interested in language structure and use. Competitions are opportunities for students with an interest in language or logic to shine. Linguistics is the study of language and its structure. It is not directly related to any one particular language. While the study of a second language could improve someone’s understanding of linguistics, it is not a requirement nor is performance in language classes a direct indicator of students’ abilities in linguistics.
